How we think about data.

Show the variance, not the zero.
Occupancy doesn't live between 0% and 100% — it lives between 85% and 95%. If the difference between a great month and a bad month doesn't show up on the chart, the chart isn't doing its job. Axes get scaled to where the business actually operates.
Dashboards read only from deliberate tables.
Nothing in production queries intermediate models. Every dashboard sources from a dashboard-layer table — a deliberate, reviewed transformation. This keeps surprise breakages out of client views when upstream data shifts.
If a human does it twice, automate it.
Sending the same follow-up email. Checking the same report each morning. Reconciling the same two spreadsheets. The second time through is the signal. The third time through is embarrassing.
